Where's mah l4d2 sound effects?
Ok, so i have l4d2 downloaded via DLC. Voice works fine, music is fine.

There are no other sounds, such as weapons, and ambience.

Is this just a personal glitch, or would y'all like me to put the missing sounds onto the workshop?

try downloading gcfscape. Once you have that, go ahead and tell me and we can do this the manual way c:

No need too. the l4d2 sound files dont need gcfscape. So i dragged them into my usermod and it works fine.

I'd put it on the workshop, but apparently you need to do it file by file instead of using 1 folder to have it all in to avoid conflictingly named files.

Actually, that's not even necessary. L4D2's aduio isn't even packaged, it's all available as loose WAV files in the game's folders, ready tp be copied over.

Of course it's a good idea to have GCFScape nonetheless, the thing is incredibly useful.

EDIT:

Gah crud, got ninja'd XP
