Dust particles
I was curious about how to use some dust particles in sfm. For example, dust in the wind, dust falling through cracks in a ceiling.

I know I have seen this in meet the pyro (When he is shown walking, there are puffs of dust).

Any help?

The only real help available is to learn how to use particle systems... That's what they are using, placement and timing are critical and depending on what you're trying to achieve, multiples will be required. For a dust storm, place the particle right in front of the camera, adding more makes it more dense. Rotaing the systems, setting them to fire a fraction to a second apart or changing the random seed sometimes helps to make the systems a little more chaotic...

Danka Shay. Is there any way to make the particles a different color?

There is via the particle editor or by creating an instance of the particle and editing through the element viewer, but particles are not my thing, maybe someone else can tell you hao that is done.
