Also OC animatronics?
Shots fired.
I don't do the first one,and I don't do the second one anymore.
BTW,Not all FNAF fans are children.
The software can be found on steam here: http://store.steampowered.com/app/365670/
If you just want to make recolors, you need:
A pony (workshop is full of them)
Photoshop or corel or similar programs for painting.
VTFEdit for converting custom textures, as SFM only accepts VTF images, nothing else.
Add Override Materials (right-click on the pony's name in SFM for this)
Element Viewer (can be accessed after right-clicking on the name and then Show In Element Viewer > Model)
A $basetexture attribute and string (click the + of materials, then right-click the name of the material, Add Attribute > String, and type the path to your custom VTF, which must be somewhere in a materials folder).
download the smd. d/l only seems to work in g's chrome tho.
use blender and blender source tools to import, check it and make it work. then you gotta learn to compile it. @ptejack got a tutorial. or you can use info from here and for specific commands here. i recommend exporting and using dmx file format for the compile. it's a lot easier to make facial expressions work.
for the textures try gimp with the vtf export plugin. learn to paint. you need some material files too. you can find info about that here and perhaps there. there's also a cheap eye material. i won't search for that now.
but/and... don't even think about uploading it to the workshop. it's your's only. 'we' don't need it.
I am sure that there are more grown up fans of MLP than there are of FNAF by a long shot!!
Most raised their kids with the show and became avid fans themselves. The kids... most of them got sick of it because the parents were watching it all the time! lol
Also, what you said about MLP is true. MLP has been around for a while, no wonder why there are so many fans. Also, Lauren Faust is good at making shows (Loved FHFIF growing up, PPG is okay, too), even though I didn't like MLP when I tried watching it, but I can understand the appeal.
i got a pony. i'll do it when i feel like it. XD
one OC tho. once loaded...!!! maybe i could 'comb' a fur on it. i did a good piece on a model already. i don't wanna do that again tho. for a pony. it's damn work. that's why i scrapped it. :)
