How do I fix the paint lens glare/shine?
I am making a SFM poster for one of my friends and when I came across to painting the Marxman (Pink as hell) there was a very bright color shine/glare. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Which method of painting did you use to paint it?
It looks as if you used something other than the color picker, possibly a vector 3.
hi there c: go ahead and open the console with the ` key or by selecting the "windows" tab in sfm and selecting console, then go ahead and type the following (without quotes)

"mat_specular 0"

Hope this helps!

The proxy method is severely outdated. Use this instead: https://i.imgur.com/wZGu6yk.png

No, no, it's called "override materials".
