The problem with Kaiju battles in SFM (or the kind i run into most often)

I dont know if anyone else has this problem, but i cant even start animating the kinda monster fights ive wanted to since i got sfm because i cant find a map that fits the right needs.

The problem more specifically is i need my monster models to be small, going far up with the camera makes the sky go black so i cant use full scale citys because my monsters are to big for it if that makes any sense

But i cant find any city maps small enough for the monster models i have
