dust particles?

hey guys c:

I was just wondering if there was a particle for the dust in a light beam? you know the tiny sparkles in sunbeams or smokey lights. I'm making a poster with a bright spotlight and I could really use some dust. I've tried some magic effects but it just wasn't what I was looking for. I've seen SFM movies with these particles but I can't seem to find them in the workshop.

so...anyone know where I can find myself some dust? XD

Hmm, have you tried playing with 'Volumetric Lighting'?

yeah, but it doesn't give that lovely dust in the sunlight kind of effect. if you look up the SFM movie "strings of sanity" and "last night at freddys" you'll see what im talking about. for now though, i guess it's photoshop to the rescue c:

I don't know where you may have searched for dust particles, but I don't think there are any here on the workshop.
You might try on the GMOD[garrysmods.org] site, or maybe SFMLab[sfmlab.com].
