starlight sorcerer AO issue is kicking my ass
i have tried every ao fix i could find for this model, but no matter what i do it always looks semitransparent. maybe im doing something wrong, i have no idea, god please help me

Two materials, one that's transparent (additive, to be more precise). This one needs a recompile with the $mostlyopaqe .qc command.

I would also add "$ambientocclusion 0" to the additive material (the one without the "_1" in the name). That's going to prevent AO from drawing on top of it.

Make sure you don't have a duplicate in a higher priority folder overriding the one you changed.

i overrode the original file, theres no way thats whats happening

Hm, I don't see what else it could be, I don't see anything in either style's "_1" material that could cause it to be non-opaque...
