Transparent particles?

Hello, I'm working on a video in SFM and I'm trying to make a smoke particle effect transparent. How can I go about doing this?

look for the alpha random under initializer tab in the particle editor.
If there is no such thing, right click on initializer - add - alpha random.
alpha_max/min is the max-min range of transparency.

255 is maximum(no transparency)
0 is minimum(invisible particle)
Transparency of each created smoke will be chosen in random between the max/min number you choose.
