keying in a high rotation number for vehicles, for tires, helicopter blades
I've tried this with mixed results, I take the rotor of a helicopter, and mark it at the start, then mark it at 20 secs into the animation, then find the y or z axis and then put it up to 20 or 30k rotations at the end of that animation, so the blade is moving at a really high speed.

The problem is, when i do that, unless its marked at 2- 5 sec intervals which wreck the graph btw, it just starts stuttering, like i can't see the blade visibly moving for 5 secs, then it IS moving for 5 secs, then it isn't etc.

Any solutions?

check what the tangents are on each key incase they've changed to stepped or something

and also things like blades heavily rely on the illusion of speed in animation so make sure in your final render you have motion blur

i actually set it to linear, and yeah, its motion blur i'm depending on, but it should be consistent, only its not, I'm not sure if there's a set limit in SFM on what it will do as far as high amounts of rotations or if its a effect of the proportion of the frame rate to the high rotation number, like I don't need if i need 30000 rotations over 60 secs or some multiple of 24 frames X number of seconds

so what's going on is you're trying to get it to go so fast in the graph editor that it's changing how it should turn to get to where the other keyframe is

I'm trying to get whirring chopper blades, yes....
