"The Source Filmmaker will need a connection to Steam."
Ok, so I've been using this software for over a year now, and I have never seen this before. Can someone help me?

Was Steam open when you opened SFM?
That's the fix for me.

I meant that Steam was open, like it shows up on your screen, but that doesn't seem like the issue. Sorry, can't help you. :/

Darn. Well, thanks anyways. At least I don't have a huge fanbase to please. 95 subs aint a lot lmao.

It could be caused by an unstable Steam connection. Try restarting Steam.

If for some reason you still can't get it to work, you can always run the sfm.exe with the -nosteam command. This will explicitly tell SFM that Steam is unavailable right now and as such will load in a sort of offline mode, so you can still use it if Steam is acting up for some reason.
