lights disappear after export
So I'm doing this poster with minimal things in it. Six lights, one mainly to set the mood and the others to make glowing effects. When I'm done setting everything up for a poster, I export the image to a poster, right? The problem is, once I open it in Photoshop, three of my lights seem to have disappeared. Any tips on what might be the problem?

I'd recommend exporting to image and then selecting .png as the format, it seems to retain all the effects the best...

Thank you so much, Capt.

Okay, back up. I tried that too. But it didn't work.
I started checking in the f2 view how it'd look like, since the image is always clearer that way and it's like the final outcome of things, right? As it turns out, even those lights disappear in that mode. If I wanted them back, I'd have to click the Camera button two Work Cam and back to Cam1 to see those lights again. But even after that, the lights still don't show after I save.

You may have to scrub the playhead forward a bit.
Are these lights actual lights or are they particles that simulate lights?
If they are particles, then moving the playhead forward a bit may fix ya up...

They're actual lights. Only one light is animated to dim down and light up a bit and to change hues slightly, but only so I could see which would best fit the scene.
My playhead is right in the middle of the scene though. It's close to the 5 second mark.

Hmm, I've had a similar issue with lightsabers not rendering in the final picture, but was able to fix it using camera 1 as the source and then exporting to a .png, I don't understand why it's not working for you... :steamsad:

Thanks for the help. I'll keep trying other things to fix this...
