Is SFMLab actually safe?
Many of you are probably aware of the site SFMLab. After visiting the site and downloading a file, I was prompted by my webadvisor that the file downloaded was malicious and harmful. Although it might have been a fase alarm ,that tends to happen with these security programs, I didn't want to take any chances and deleted the file. So my question is, is SFMLab actually safe?

Depends on the asset. I'm not sure about if SFMLab goes through many security checks or not, but everything I've downloaded so far has been ok.

Yes. It's safe unless you refering to NSFW items which are abundant.

I guess my best bet would be to only download assets with a high download count. hmmmm

The NSFW only accessible to registered members there. So your pure mind is fine browsing there.

not everything is safe per default. sfmlab doesn't include a notice about viruz free proof of executable files, so this is meant to be taken in your hands and verify. and that includes rig scripts. good luck verifying those.

models and materials itself are undoubtfully safe to use tho... yes.

Define what exactly you mean by safe. Other than the viruses and what not, there are models with legal problems. You can either screw it up for everybody (DMCA) or screw it up just for yourself for using (sent to court).

Hmm I never considered that before. So there are legal ramifications for using certain models? O.o

Some of nsfw models. They infect bitcoin trojan to make money from that free model :p. If you hırny enough you can keep it
