Rendering settings, and what to do??
OK so here is the thing:.... HOW DO YOU RENDER PROPERLY?!? i have animated in about 2 years now but whenever i use my render settings it turns out so folly and blury. I know how to improve with the help of the Progressive Refinement setting (rigthclick on screen "render settings"/"camera settings"). i know how to ligth properly. and the rendering is fine too. however. when i use MPEG4 it gets too dark and the ligthing looks so bad, and when i am using H.264 it is alot better, but the ligthing is kinda too brigth, everything is to brigth (even with tonemapscale) The final spark, the . above the i is somehow missing (and i am rendering in 1080 P with a MP4 file) I am not sure if im using the camera settings wrong,my render settings, or i have been missing a important feature the sfm system has. Animators like The Winglet, dunkle and hypo has amazing and so smooth animation, ligthning and camara movement. And yes i know it takes a big amount of time, and i am NOT at the same level to animate that good, but when i compare my animation with theirs its like something went wrong during my rendering or overall ligthing. I am not here to brag about how bad or horrible sfm is,but i am here to get help because i have cleary missed something. I hope some of you out there in this excellent community would like to help me somehow. :facepunch:

From my experience, it's best to tweak the camera settings to your liking before rendering by creating an animation set for your scene camera. Tone scale can help if the scene is too dark or too bright, and turning down (or off) motion blur can help if your scene is too blurry. I'd suggest looking up great render settings and what each setting does in sfm on YouTube. It's how I learned.
