Go to -/steamapps/common/GarrysMod/bin, copy "gmad.exe" (or just "gmad", depending on your settings), and paste it in -steamapps/common/GarrysMod/GarrysMod/addons, then drag and drop a gma file on top of it. This will create a folder with the same name as the gma file, containing the contents of it. Copy the contents to somewhere Source FilmMaker reads.

(Alternatively, you can have two File Explorer windows open, one in -/GarrysMod/bin, and one in -/GarrysMod/GarrysMod/addons, then drag a gma to gmad.exe in the other window. I'm not sure in which place the addon's contents will be exported to. Then again, copy it to a location Source FilmMaker reads.)

If you mean gmad.exe, that comes with Garry's Mod. If you don't mean gmad.exe, there's no reason not to mean gmad.exe, considering how easy it is to use (literally just drag and drop a gma file onto it and take the contents of the folder it spits out).

Thanks a bunch dude. I tried getting a extractor a year ago. And I got a bunch of viruses. But I trust a gamebanana.

Whoops, was editing my comment, and I didn't realize I had already posted it, so I just took my time with it. So yeah, you may go re-read my comment for instructions if you want now.

In the description of this video I have the code for a .bat command file that will allow you to drag and drop any number of GMA files on to the created Batch file and extract them into separate folders.
