Flex/Shape-Key Glitch in Session With Large Group of Character Models
Has anyone ever had this issue?

When working in a session with a ton of models being used at once, do some of the model's flexes/shape-keys glitch where one slider is every flex combined while the rest of the sliders do nothing?

I started to have this exact glitch just one month ago. At first I didnt mind it that much, since just closing and opening SFM fixed the problem. But now, doing that now BREAKS the shape-keys and flexes.

I have been trying to find some help about this, but it seems to be a pretty uncommon problem since people barely commented it. My situation could be worse, since even creating a new brand session, with just ONE new model, said model glitches, and its flexes/shape-keys dont work anymore.

Okay, so yeah. It seems the main culprit of this problem seens to be having a crap ton of models in one session.

Try to erase as many as you can, and idk, if you are animating, try to separate the animation into different sessions...

You can't like just toggle view of the models off and turn them back on when you're ready for rendering? Also, this type of problem is entirely new to me, I've never come across something like this personally.

If this can be replicated somehow (demonstrated via a video) and we can establish a proper fix or workaround, I'm willing to add this to the Troubleshooting guide. May help others in the future who may also encounter this problem.

This seems to be a pretty uncommon problem to encounter. I found the "answer" of this in a very old thread here in the discussion forum, and some player said that this is caused by having too many models, or the session just got outright corrupted.

I erased models, and the problem was "fixed". Now, the most confusing thing about this glitch is how this problem also affects other brand new sessions, with different models.

SFM’s Memory usage may also be the specific issue as the flex glitches tend to happen when my session has a red “Mem” on the bottom right.
