Missing map textures ported from Hammer Editor
So I'm trying to import my map to SFM from the Hammer Editor by copying the .bsp file from Hammer and renaming it. But when I try opening the map, yes I was able to get the map loaded, but all the textures were missing in the map and just shows the pink/black textures instead on the objects.

Is there a way I can get the materials to show up on the map in SFM after importing a .bsp file from Hammer? Or is there another way in importing a .bsp file that I missed?

If you used custom materials and textures from games other than TF2 (circa2015 before the last SFM Update) and did not pack the custom content into the map using packrat (or other Map asset packing utilities) and don't have those custom assets ported in to SFM manually, then they are going to be missing. The Hammer Map Run process doesn't import and pack custom materials, textures or models into the BSP that aren't part of the game you're creating the map for. The map pulls from available assets when loaded into SFM. Because SFM can't read VPK files and extract what it needs on the fly, the assets have to be hard extracted, in there proper folders and in known modfolders for SFM to find them.

Thank you for the advice! I got it working now using VIDE for the materials and textures. This video below solved my question if anyone else is having the same issue with custom map textures.
