Object moves weirdly during keyframe
I wanted to try SFM and I started with the bouncing ball exercise. I was in timeline mode when I put the ball in a keyframe and move it using the X axis, but the ball starts to move on the Y axis. I started to try that on other models and they also moved weirdly instead of going straight. Does anyone know the reason why?

Do you have the model's entire animation set selected when making manipulations? Because the graph editor (the "third option" as you call it) moves all controls relative to their parent when you do that, effectively dislocating everything (try it with a character model, it'll Cronenberg the heck out of it). You should only select one of the ball's controls, typically its root transform.

The reason is because you dont look what you're clicking and what you get...
In your case you prob using spline tangents (its by default and used to smooth the animation) instead of using linear and flat tangents

Okay, I swapped the mode to linear and flat but the objects still move diagonally instead of going straight. The ball is leaving the center of the original position every direction I move it. This only happens when I go on the third option(Not sure what's it called but it has tons of graphs for the axis of objects). Do you know what could be the reason?
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Where are these settings located?

I didn't say anything about settings. If you mean the animation set's controls, they're in the animation set editor. Just expand the animset's groups by clicking the little "+" icons to the left.
