Audio sample rate problem
I have one sound I want to use and It wouldnt play. (its wav pcm 16) I put it in audcity and exported it as 16000 hrtz, 44100 htz and the audio still wont work. Checked consle and it says "S_StartSound: Invalid sample rate (48000) for sound ...". I changed the resample rate in audacity to 44100 but the same issue occurs with the audio. How do I fix this?

Make sure the sample rate is 11025, 22050, or (preferably) 44100 hertz, and that you're exporting it as a 16-bit PCM-formatted WAV sound. In some cases, you may have to rename the file or reboot your computer for it to work. (Yes, computer, not just Source FilmMaker, though I don't think that'll do something every time, only some times.)

Either the sample rate is still 16000 hertz instead of 44100 hertz, or else you have to reboot Source Filmmaker.
If that doesn't work, you might even have to rename the file, so that Source Filmmaker won't keep a "cache" of the old file with the old sample rate.

Just rename the file, don't put any "!@#$%^&*()_+" into the file name and you should be golden

I did literally everything, 41000 WaveRate, 16,32,64 bit PCM. And rebooted and renamed.

Just so you know, It registers within SFM but doesn't play. It shows the waveform in the tab, Though.

It's as Zappy said; either you didn't change the project rate to 44100 hertz, or SFM is loading a cached version of the file. If you're positive it's not the former, renaming the file should fix it.
You can't! there's nothing you can do about it.
