Report a translation problem
If you show the camera in the Element Viewer, you can change its "nearz" value to set this "clipping plane". It defaults to 3.
However, note that there are some issues with the screen manipulator displays (e.g. invisible arrows), as well as maybe also depth-sorting when rendering the 3D scene, when setting it lower than 3, especially if set to 0 itself.
Alternatively, you may be able to move the model a bit away from the camera, then scale up the model a bit to compensate for it shrinking in perspective.
