Saxxy Awards 2017
So... no saxxy awards for this year? I mean they would've usually already announced them...

Well, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't forget, they might be having it in December.

Sadly I don't think so (ye call me pessimist :3) because they usually give around 3 months to creators and if they'd announce them around now (end of september) it would be around Christmas... and knowing their lazyness...

AKA Valve time. Alternatively, they don't bother with Saxxy anymore so they can focus more on a certain card-based spin off game nobody asks for.

I'm already familiar with 25+ projects in progress and counting. SFM creators are not dead, Valve listen.

I hope it's not dead because it was one of the main reason people got and are still getting inspired to use this program and make wonderful animations, I say that because I was one of them too. I hope Valve sees this and understand the importance of this contest.
With that said, we should bump this thread as much as we can and maybe even remind them on their sfm team email.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who thinks the same. But again I don't think that they will cancel the Saxxy Awards, because that'll be a huge disadvantage to not only us, but to valve as well. Since all the videos in Saxxy awards, pretty much promotes valve's games.

In fact they did the dota 2 movie contest (with new rules too)... so what else should they need?
