Rendering Image Sequences in JPEG and PNG
Whenever I made an animaiton I would export an image sequence in jpeg. It looked bad and so I decided to export it in png instead.

Here are the differences
.png: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mpsnd1CsUpc&feature=youtu.be

.jpeg: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0DgMQpnpejo&feature=youtu.be

I just thought this was interesting enough to bring up.

Haha, Sorry about that
You know, we've had the internet for 30 years now. I thought everybody knew this already.

Ive been on for about 10 and Ive only started animating about a year ago so this is news to me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Ya, PNG is a lossless format, JPG is Lossy format. JPG takes up drastically less space than a PNG. Not sure why the PNG video is darker(has more contrast) than the JPG though, That doesn't make much sense to me. I don't see any artifacts in either of them either, but that's probably because nothing in the shot is moving other than the characters.

really nice animation btw.
