Your title is also your answer, if ya just stop and think about it for a few... lol
As for some advice, uhm... Upload it somewhere other than Steam's workshop? For example on GameBanana.[gamebanana.com]
yea but i have like 2 models uploaded, each of them not being that high, heck, before i changd PC i used to like , upload loads of private models for my use
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=930748765
And that particular user seems to have over 2500 MB uploaded to the workshop in total, so I'm flummoxed as to what the actual limits are. It's possible that there's compression involved somewhere along the line, or that it's somehow based on Steam Level.
* That said, why on earth anyone thinks that making a single model with textures that size is a good idea when SFM only has ~3.5 GB RAM limits is another matter. There's a lot of models I've had to download and resize all the textures to stop them taking an obnoxiously large amount of SFM's RAM.
and i'm pretty sure i have, alot of space left
But good to hear there's more room for SFM. I always found that what I mentioned earlier to be a surprisingly low amount of MB.
edit: try to disable steam cloud for sfm. i have actually no idea what is shared with the cloud. usually it's just cfgs and save. can't figure out tho. mine is not working correctly or updating the size after sync. looking at your cloud's size i'd guess the whole elements or usermod folder is up in the cloud. that'd be eating up that space. i've no idea if and how you can clean this cloud manual tho. if it clears when disabling you're fine. if not, you may have to temporarily empty your elements and/or usermod or whatever the F it syncronizes folders (i can't figure it out - not updating) and sync the empty state of it with the cloud. that should clean it up. you could then disable the cloud and refill the de-clouded folder with your stuff.
