How to expand facial sliders?
I am using a Gordon Freeman model in SFM and the facial expressions seem bare and dont change much, and i'm trying to go for a very specific emotion, so i'd like to stretch the limits of the sliders, but from what the limit is 0-1.
But I cannot really settle for what i have now, so, does anyone have any tips on how to expand sliders, or, a HWM Gordon Freeman model?

You basically can't. Garry's Mod allows flexes to be applied more than 100% and/or less than 0%, but Source Filmmaker only allows flexes to be applied between 0% and 100%. No more, no less.

You could try to find a custom version of the model which has "exaggerated" flexes, but if you don't... Well, there's nothing stopping you from making it yourself, but unless you already understand what you have to do to accomplish that, that may be a lot of trouble to do.

I don't know of one, unfortunately, though I haven't done an extensive search for one.

There could be a way to change it to a .fbx and import into a program like blender, where you could go in and edit minimum and maximum flex scale values, then reimport it to SFM as a .mdl

The real method is decompile as an SMD and QC file using Crowbar compiler, import the QC into Blender and start editing.

Remap the shape keys in blender by creating a "new shape from mix" of any given shape key with its range extended as desired. If there are advanced shape keys, you then need to re-build/salvage the original flex controllers and graft them into the new definitions file. I've done it. It can take a solid afternoon - if you know how to do it right the first time. I got wrinkle maps to work too later on. But I ran into an issue - I forgot one of the steps I performed in salvaging the flex definitions correctly. I hunted down the issue and in theory have the solution but have since given up because I've got some more important things to do.

I've got a massive guide with about everything porting related in it that will be out within 6 months... keep eyes peeled.
