Black Flickering Screen
Recently, I have a problem where I move the camera in SFM and the screen keeps flickering black and freezing at times. Even when I turn auto-hide on it still flickers.

Note: I have the latest update (from what I know) and have had it for a while, but this problem started yesterday.

Have you tried the other solutions shown at the "Blinking/ Flickering Viewport" thread?

Can you link it?

Try to update your graphic drivers, then reboot your computer for the drivers to refresh fully.

If that doesn't fix it, try to toggle whether "Windows" > "Engine Window" > "Auto Hide Engine Window" is enabled or disabled at the top-left of Source Filmmaker's main window.
This seems to fix it for some people, but not for everyone, and even then, having it enabled fixes it for some people while having it disabled fixes it for other people.

You may also want to see the pinned thread about this issue, called "Blinking/Flickering Viewport: Possible Cause and Solutions".

to fix this issue, go to "windows" in sfm, hover over "engine window", then click "auto hide engine window". this is the solution i used because i have the same problem, one thing you need to know is that this engine window will be kinda annoying when you have sfm open and your doing something else on your pc. you have to keep the "auto hide engine window" off, or else your camera will flicker black again. :)

Do you have bad reading comprehension? OP already said he tried that usual method but didn't work. Please read carefully next time.
