a thing i slightly remember i experienced is that, i think if it finds shared resource files that are in the workshop folder it denies the upload. iirc i had that happen when doing a texture mod with sharing something from the workshop model. vague memory from me tho. give it a try? :)
thinking about 'any model' you may have to figure out how many gigabytes of storage you use for your workshop submissions. i think there is a limit on it. i dunno what that error would look like. i'm not abusing that much space. or maybe just wait til tomorrow. you never know when the server is not really responding and throw some random stuff on your screen.
Once the upload reaches 100%, I get a pop up saying:
And the model I'm trying to upload won't even get uploaded. Same happens with the spesific model I'm trying to upload, with a simple cube which uses a single material of the previous model or any of my earlier workshop uploads I haven't touched even the slightest. I'm really confused.
And the texture/material paths are the same ones which my previous models are using, although with different sub-paths.
It was because I had an unusual letter in the description of the model
