Select BSP File is a Blank White Screen

Iv been having this problem where i load a map and the Select BSP File is just a blank screen.

Iv tried reinstalling Source Filmmaker, iv already Verify Integrity of the games files which didnt help. and Finally i tried resizing the window but that doesnt work either. Could i use some help please?

If you have Discord installed, make sure that its overlay is not active on Source Filmmaker. There are known incompatibilities (such as this) between Source Filmmaker and Discord's game overlay thing.

I dont use discord overlay so its off for me. The problem is still there i think its a problem with some workshop mods since i had this problem when i installed some mods.

I'll get a similar bug once in a while. I just exit and re-enter, and it's back on track. However, it seems that you've probably done that by now. Have you:

Installed custom content (exclu. Workshop items)?
Altered any game files?
Checked anti virus/cheat software for any quarantined files?
Exited/re-entered Steam?
Restarted your computer?
Tried running it as an admin?

2. iv deleted all files and reinstalled yesterday

Did you scan for a virus, or check for blocked files? You need to do the latter.

ill try this now, i also just launched tf2 and that crashes like sfm D:

Might be a Source engine problem, perhaps? Do you have any other Source games (Half Life, Left 4 Dead, Portal)

Left 4 Dead 2, Portal 1 & 2, CSGO and TF2

Righto, try opening those and see if they have the same problem. Still check the ANY anti virus/cheat software, too.

im starting to think its a source engine problem.
Iv loaded L4D2 and garrys mod, both of those crashed/freezed

Alright, can you post your system specs? Maybe they can't load the Source engine right?
