Yeah I wasnt thinking straight apparently when I posted this. I'll get on that as soon as possible
I remade it so this one is SLIGHTLY more improved over the last one. While watching it I realized I messed up the hands which is an easy fix. But I feel like its sloppy. Very choppy. I dont know what im doing wrong. There is no part 2 to the walk tutorial so I guess im missing more details.
Edit: Mad a mistake so redoing it a third time. It's REALLY had to figure out how to start the walk and how to get the proper movement right
Second walking animation is pretty hard. I struggle with it, that's why I don't do it much
Third of all every animator is different. We have some who use realistic movement and some who's animation bounce a lot
Ok so my suggestions: try and make the pelvis go up and down with the foot. That's why it looks like its snapping so much. And if you want make it lean from left to right. Also it looks like he's stopping everytime he takes a footstep, not sure if that's part of his walk or that's another problem. It should move forward in a constant motion. Also his hand moves back and forth really fast. Maybe slow it down and u should be gucci. I know a video by a guy name "Jesse Baumgartner" he's made a detailed walk cycle if you need help (and yes he has part 2)
If you need any help just add me. I dont mind helping others out (ps kinda curious about the video, tell me when it's done so I can watch it)
Um....it wasnt supposed to stop every time he takes a step...that was just a huge mistake on my part apparently. I was just following every step in the tutorial video...
Yeah I know his hands move fast. I said that in my last post, an easy fix.
I tried to imitate his walk animation in the firday the 13th game but for some reason the results are not even close to what I had in mind....like every other animation I try to make. They never come close to how I imagined it so it results in failure every time....
Well my sfm is lagging for no reason again so making a walk animation wont be easy...it was running smoothly now I cant even bend fingers without it lagging. I still dont know how my sfm on my new pc went from running SUPER smoothly without any lag to lagging whenever I select or move a model its starting to get really annoying. I got a pc to avoid this problem
