Adding a keyframe makes extreme changes to all existing animation?
I'm trying to make sure I have keyframes for my entire model on each keyframe point, but when I try to add the missing keyframes, the entire thing goes wack. Here's some images...

Offset mode doesn't do anything to fix it. Moving bookmarks around also drastically changes the animations.

How this started happening I think: I saved my project and started messing around trying to speed up a certain part of the clip. I bladed the clips, changed the timescale, copied the animation in the motion editor, merged the clips (removing the timescale change), and pasted the sped up animation. I ran into some issues with repeating animation but a little more copy pasting and everything seemed smooth. I then went to add some keyframes and ran into this problem. I noped out of there and closed without saving, and then opened the save I made before messing around. I went to add some keyframes and the problem was still there! I'm so confused.

Only select the bones you want to animate. In your scene you have ALL Rig bones selected, so of course your animation is going to be pooched.

But I'm not animating anything, I'm just placing a bookmark over existing animation, so isn't there no reason for the animation to change so drastically?

If you pay attention, there are multiple black dots at the keyframes that don't have any graph lines passing through them. And there should never be such a dot without graph lines passing through it. So it's more of a real problem than you might think.
