Can you import blender animations to sfm?
So i am asking is it possible to like make your animation of like a tf2 character in blender (since for me animating in sfm is much harder than blender) and then like import it back to sfm?

If you're using the same model as in SFM, export your animation as a DMX file, place your exported DMX into a folder SFM knows about. Right click your character's animationset Editor object in SFM and select Import - animation. Point the browser to your animation DMX file. The animation should load or give you an error about not being in the correct format.

If the animation loads, it will not loop, you have to either load more of the same animation or copy and paste the animation in the motion or graph editor if you need it to loop.

If the SFM errors saying the DMX format is not correct, you may have to use DMXConvert to change it from TEX to binary format or binary format to TEX format (I have a guide on that here https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=551265085 )

Once the format is changed, try to import the animation again.

Dear Pte Jack, I saved my animation in Blender and imported it to SFM following your instructions and SFM said that everything is fine (in the window "Import the following channels" all is green except the first two lines from above that are red) but after pressing OK model have the animation, but looks like some sort of potato. Do you know how to fix that?

The models have to have some kind of similar orientation and structure...im not sure how that part works cause I'm not a modeler...but there have been instances where the models have the same bone names, but it's bone orientation is turned 90 degrees so all the bones get the animation applied, but in some other direction, which makes the model look like a potato.

Sorry i can't help you further because I'm not a modeler. But that is what the problem likely is. A modeler can give you a solution.
