How many hours to make an animation
Has anyone made a long animation with sfm? Like 20 - 30 minutes? I'm trying to get some idea of how long it takes to do. If so, how long was the video and about how many hours did it take to make?
Thank you for your help
Regards

Depends on the lenght and quality. Also how much free-time a person can have nowadays.

I can work on it close to full time atm. In a few months it may be a little less than that but I'd still assume the equivalent of two work days worth of hours being able to work on it. I'm making my own characters and assets atm and intend to put them in there and make an animation dramedy series for my YouTube channel and six months or more between episodes seems a bit hard for something with ongoing story (plus harder with patreon etc too).

you have 2.5 hours in sfm, learn some stuff before making feature length animations or your ambitions will let you down

The first movie I made in SFM was a 30 min animation. I never released it to the public, as it was so terrible, but it was extremely helpful to learn the basics as I made it. Point is, yes, you can make feature length animations. However, I would suggest splitting up the sessions, otherwise the lag will make it difficult to work.
