Change the colour, intensity, and range of it. That's all I can really say without more information.

You may also want to swap to constant (or *possibly* linear) attenuation, rather than quadratic, and turn up (I think) the FarZAttenuation slider.
Given the moon is already 400,000 km away, its intensity doesn't exactly fade a lot over the very small distances of an SFM map. (You will however need to turn down the intensity. A lot).

A very wide angle may also be necessary for some shots... and volumetric lighting might be an idea too.

not sure if you mean the moon itself or a moonlight, but heres what i do

>make a volumetric light
>make it a purplyish blue
>put it actually very close to the camera aiming at it, adjust intensity and horizontal and vertical fov, thats it.

You can use this to go by, just make sure to change the color and tone down the intensity, otherwise, this is a good way to make moonlight that will cover a large area as well...
