new TF2 maps doesn't load
So I'm trying to open some newer tf2 maps (like Brimstone, Hellstone and Moonshine Event) but sfm just doesn't want to load them. The first time I try it's like sfm isn't doing anything and the second time I try it it just crash. Also if I try it once to load such a map I can't really load any other map because it will also result in crashing.
Does anybody know what's to problem? Because I couldn't find any helpfull solution in the internet and it seems no one else said anything about such a problem.
It would be ok if there isn't a solution to solve it (I can try and find other maps for this project) I just want to know if you can fix it or not.

That's a bit extreme.

The root of the issue is that Valve updated TF2 so it could use a compressed version of BSP map files. SFM doesn't understand this format, but you can decompress the files so SFM can read them:

I can confirm the guide Marco Skoll linked to works (at the very least for me and many others).

First of all, so does Marco Skoll, me, and many others, and secondly, they did talk to Pte Jack (and other people) (by making this thread). Personally, I'd highly prefer if you stick to either saying what you know about something or not saying anything about it, rather than saying "ask this person" and giving a link to Pte Jack's Steam profile. (I can't speak of what Pte Jack thinks about it, though, considering I'm not him.) Especially considering Pte Jack will see the thread eventually, and even then the question may already have been answered by someone else in the meantime.
