They usually work no problem. Most people use Gmad Extractor to port them over. It's pretty easy.

Download Gmad extractor, open it up, select your .GMA file from C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\addons

and extract to your usermod folder or wherever you wish

it's 2023 right now, the Gmad extractor works for me, i've tried it myself but when i try to place in the model in SFM, it comes out as an error

Then, you import it the wrong way. After extracting, import the extracted materials and models folder into usermod and make sure both folders merged.

Yet that site doesn't hosts SFM content. So, there's no reason go there to look for SFM content NSFW or not unless you're planning to make your own SFM port of those stuff available there.
