"Engine hunk overflow" on a ported map from a mod. Any help?
I got a map from a mod recently, and decided to try to open it in sfm, but it says "Engine hunk overflow"

Is there a chance it can work in sfm? Or is it a no go.

I did google that haha. I did find that but i wanted to check here first to make sure, seeing as SFM is not really trustworthy when it comes to comparing it to other source engine based "things"

and its from the mod "Fast Detect"
I have no idea if this mod is compatible with sfm, but you could always try decompiling the maps with bspsource, loading them into SFM's Hammer, and recompiling.

You also need to have the mods materials and models mounted in SFM.

yes i am aware of all of that :P and the models all are (for the most part, a few have missing materials but at least 97% work perfectly)

If the models are compatible then the maps should be too. Decompile, recompile in SFM's Hammer and it should work.

Trust me. I would recompile in SFM's hammer and i know that (although its my fault for not mentioning the following) that SFM's hammer is broken for me.
