How to upload an mp4 into Source filmmaker to edit

To edit? Nope. Source FilmMaker is a video creation tool, not a video editing tool.

Absolutely not. Render an SFM video and combine them together into a video editing software like Sony Vegas or somethng similar.

Or you can do what I do. Find website that can convert files, and convert it into a .wav file.
However, sometimes I need to convert it to an .mp3 first, THEN convert it into a .wav

Nope it doesn’t work to edit mp4 files in source. You see when a file has been converted from a project file into a video file it is unesitable in SFM. Otherwise you find a project file on internet that you can edit in later.

Thanks eveeryone - I am getting Adobe for the editing piece - I usually stream on YouTube so it has been easier to do - hoping to stream Rust, PUBG here - I appreciate the help!
