Right-click Source FilmMaker in your Steam library, choose "Launch SDK", set the drop-down "mod" selection list to "usermod", click "Reset Game Configurations", allow it to do stuff, and then reboot your computer to make sure the changes take effect. Now test Source FilmMaker.

If that doesn't fix it, right-click Source FilmMaker again, choose "Properties", switch to the "Betas" tab, make sure the drop-down beta selection list is set to "NONE - Opt out of all beta programs", switch to the "Local Files" tab, click "Verify Integrity of Application Cache...", and wait for it to finish (which is when it says how many files will be re-acquired, not when it says 100%). Again, test Source FilmMaker to see if it works or not.

If that also doesn't fix it, right-click Source FilmMaker again, choose "Properties" > "Local Files" > "Browse Local Files...", navigate into the "game" folder, copy the full file path at the top, hit the Windows key, search for and open "Edit the system environment variables", click "Environment Variables...", click the upper "New..." button, type "VGame" (without quotes) as the Variable Name, paste the full folder path to -/SourceFilmmaker/game you copied earlier into the Variable Value, click OK, click the upper "New..." button again, type "VMod" (without quotes) as the Variable Name, type "usermod" (without quotes) as the Variable Value, click OK, click OK, click Apply (or OK if Apply is unavailable), and reboot your computer to make sure the changes take effect. Then test Source FilmMaker again afterwards.

Will it happen if I tell you what may had caused the problem and find a solution that give me guarantee fix. If it helps or it don’t really matter.

No solution is ever a guaranteed fix, especially as you might need to only do one solution in some cases and do multiple things in other cases. Just do what I explained before, while checking if Source FilmMaker works at each linebreak in case it starts working.

If you have replaced any of Source FilmMaker's base installation files, yes. If all custom content you have is not directly replacing any of Source FilmMaker's default files, no, though you may have to right-click Source FilmMaker, choose "Launch SDK", click "Edit Search Paths For Selected Mod", and re-enable custom "mod" folders (once you've done the things I explained in comment #1 of this thread), but rest assured that any custom files you've added yourself will not be deleted.

If you're still uncertain, feel free to back up Source FilmMaker before attempting anything.
