F11 problems
So, I just got source today, and I followed the steam tutorial. I finished the camra set up and all that, so now I need to press F11 to turn into a charecter to film. The problem is, I have a Levon laptop. Levon laptops F_ keys have a preset function. The F11 key dims the light of the laptop screen. So, instead of turning into a charecter, the screen just dims... anybody know a way to fix this?
Thanks in advance.

Copying across from the other thread:

When a keyboard has alternate presets for the function keys, there is usually also an Fn button somewhere near the Alt key that can be held to toggle what the keys do.

Hey! thanks for telling, I just treid googling how to use the Function key although I couldn't find instructions on how to work it. If you have any spare time could you tell me how to use it,
Thanks!

... I just did.

If the F11 key has alternate functions, find your Fn key and hold it at the same time as you're pressing F11, and you should get the function rather than the preset.

As someone above me mentioned, if your keyboard has an Fn (Function lock) key, hold it down and press the function key you want to press.

you should ask in the lenovo community howto invert the functions. per default the regular keys should be enabled. this is something wrong.
