Obvious sarcasm -_-
(I almost always do overlay stuff in a video editor afterwards rather than in SFM itself, so I can't remember exactly).
It'd be simple enough to just try it though!
(Please avoid using shot overlays; You can only have one at a time, Source FilmMaker crashes when using certain shaders for the overlay that it won't crash from when using as a material overlay effect clip, and from what I remember, you can't get rid of a shot overlay without entering the Element Viewer.)
