Model not showing up in HLMV
When i'm in SFM, I'm loading up an Ayano Aishi (Yandere-Chan) model, and I can see the models and textures. The model i'm using was converted from .pmx to .mdl. When i'm trying to view it in hlmv, it's invisible. Can anyone possibly help me with this bug?

There are a lot of checkboxes in the HLMV which dictate the visibility of various aspects of models you have in there.

Also, perhaps you don't see it because the HLMV is not looking at it or does not have the model loaded into it properly

If you have the model ported to a SFM Mod folder. try to load it in SFM. As soon as you touch the model in the model browser, look at the console for errors like Can't load .vvd for {path\filename}.mdl or can't find {path\filename}.mdl. These will tell you exactly what folder the model has to be in in order to be visible. Once you get the model visible and it becomes b;ack and purple checkerboarded (or a weird color but checkerboarded, again, look at the console for can't find {path\filename}.vmt or .vtf errors. Again, these are telling you exactly where the material need to be off the mod\materials folder.

Okay, i've loaded the model in SFM, and I can see the model and texture. But also, when i'm looking at previews for importing models, the model is invisible, but you can still see the body shape. I'll probably send a screenshot.

Look at the console as soon as you select the model in the model browser. It should giive the errors I mentioned.

I got something like
"Model file 'player/Shi/Yandere_chan.mdl' and associated vtx files are out of date"
could that be the problem?

That is a standard error and can be ignored. You're looking for " Can't load .vvd for {path\filename}.mdl or can't find {path\filename}.mdl." type errors for that model

I havent found any errors for what you've quoted. Perhaps Joe is right with:

Have you actually spawned the model? Some don't show up in the model browser because of the shaders used.

I have spawned the model in sfm, and the textures and model is there. It's 100% visible

Then it it most likely the HLMV you're using.

Okay. Thanks for your help anyway
