where does the file go?

after i hit "download'' to export my animation to a movie, where is the file sent to? i need to upload it to youtube! my channel is

The file will be exported to your render folder. That's where you'll find all of your files.

Steam/steamapps/common/sourcefilmmaker/game/usermod/elements/renders

They are usually saved in the session folder, but I programmed mine to save in a separate folder

do i type that in windows explorer or session selector? (in sfm when your choosing your session)

It should be in the SFM session folder

The session folder is where you will find you exports along with the session files

Download isn't Export.
To find your thing:
Steam/steamapps/common/sourcefilmmaker/game/usermod/elements/sessions
If you cannot find it, you haven't exported it. That simple.

I have exported like to of my projects and both of them are missing, I send them to a specific folder but when I check its not there.

for me it is D:\Steam\steamapps\common\SourceFilmmaker\game\usermod\elements\sessions
