How can I make SFM work with Windows 10?
So, I've had Windows 10 for a couple years now and for this whole time, I've not been able to make SFM work. I've looked through so many different discussions and have found no solutions. I've tried the uninstall/reinstall process (which didn't work). What do I do now?

Can you specify what doesn't work with SFM? I'm using Win10 and SFM works fine as usual.

Simple. I tell it to run. Steam starts trying to run it...then nothing. The program just crashes and steam says "Nothing's running. What are you talking about?"

All I can tell you about that is that it's not a fault of Windows 10 at all. Not only does Source FilmMaker work fine for most people using Windows 10, but the issue you're describing also happens with operating systems besides Windows 10.
As for fixing it... Sadly, I don't know what happens, why it happens, or how to work around it.

Some screenshots of that would be nice. That doesn't at all sound like this public version of Source FilmMaker available from Steam.

Same here. Using Win10 as well. SFM runs just fine.

Need screenshots of all your errors to help further.

If you are familiar with the Event Viewer, check your Application Logs to see if you are getting logs generated for the SFM crashes.

I'll be brief. Nothing comes up. My little blue frame goes green for a bit. then back to blue. Truly it is that simple.

Looking through all of that I can't see the gpu which is the most important part aside from the CPU

Yeah. I'm on a laptop but I can run a lot of games just fine.

Your using integrated graphics? I think that's your problem. Even if it did start properly your not gonna have a fun time.

I have Windows 10, and it works perfectly for me. Of course, I get the occasional crash and the occasional lag.

thought so. I just tried to uninstall and reinstall agian. Still nothing.
SFM just may be a lost cause for now. :(
