Streaming Blender or SFM via Steam?
I remember being able to stream both Blender and SFM via Steam's Broadcast application, but it hasn't been working. Is there a reason in particular these applications don't get it while most games do?

The Steam overlay has been disabled for both of them, I believe, and I also think the overlay is necessary for streaming on Steam.

Even if we have access to screensharing tools from other streaming programs and sites, to screen recording programs such as ShareX, I find that Broadcast would have been WAY better and more effective way for showing/teaching multiple people with similar issues how to solve them or answering questions via demonstration.

Not efficient enough for Steam, episoder. And I DEFINITELY remember being able to Broadcast by tricking it to showing my screen.

When I have found need to broadcast what I'm doing in SFM, I usually just broadcast it using OBS[obsproject.com], then I don't have to worry about whether Steam wants to be finicky or not... lol

We use to...
Launch a broadcastable game,
then launch SFM or Blender,
set your broadcast to full screen,
minimize the game and use the Game Broadcast to send your Blender screen.

That was the only way Software could be broadcasted over Steam. It may not work now.
