1-are there plans for more maps?
Yes
2-An Editor?
Yes
3-New game modes?
Yes
There will be even more factions, more campaign missions, AI in multiplayer, etc...
Nobody played Homeworld exclusively for it's skirmish mode, and that game had no maps other than various 'huge chunk of, ya know, SPACE'.
Who says we are not playing the campaign lol
Skirmish mode has been a staple of real time strategy games since Warcraft and command conquer so I don’t know what you are talking about.
There I discovered playing as a skynet is way more fun.
Slitherine (the Publisher of this) is known for making Addons to there games.
I kind of wish they had a Map generator include in the game instead of statically made maps and anther mode then just attack defend aka hold out skirmish.
be kinda nice to be able for both sides be able to order up new troops during combat.
but right now I have a save game issue where I cant save games that I wish they look at.
Honestly, if this was an full price title i could understand you. Like Diablo IV with 70-80 Euro and than milking the fans, but here with 30 something Euro. Pls. cut them some slack. If we get another campaign like that, i would be more than happy to pay for DLC.
I have zero interest to play the machines though. I actually would be more interested in a longer campaign or playing real founders.
With the already existing map, i would actually like and endless moder on a dynamic campaign. Like Gates of Hell:Ostfront has or so.
And we definitly need a Tower Defense Mode where you can built up an army over several games. Those things are super popular to keep the game played.
