Manual House Selection
I play in a group of 4 when playing this game, meaning 1 person for each role. We have had a lot of trouble setting up games and future dynasties due to the random player assignment. The game has a bad habit of putting multiple players into a single house and locking them into it regardless of re-connecting to the room. This makes it so some players can't get their preferred noble house and an inability to start the game (since there are noble houses with no players).

What I'm asking for is a toggle that allows the host to manually put players into each noble house or move them from one to another. I feel this would be a simple fix rather than trying to overhaul the random assignment function.

Until that fix comes, using a new incognito/private window will allow players to make new nobles for a game they had joined once previously (or even run multiple nobles).

does this work with signing in with steam? part of the reason we want to get put in certain houses is for the customized nobles we made for them

(Sorry for late reply) I am unsure if it works for steam, I have used it mostly with guests myself. It might would, but if it does I would assume you would need to sign into steam EACH time you rejoin.

its not quite what i want but its a good step i guess. i dont see why the host couldn't just manually move people to different houses
