For now when i'm playing alone I bring up a couple browser pages and join my own game. Just have to try to stay in character for the nobles rather than just support my king, ya know?
But even if you found someone that would play two games, they would start a completely new campaign so they could try other factions.
I haven't been able to experience any theoretical content that takes multiple continuations of a single campaign. And don't get me started on joining a game late, being immediately bankrupted by events, and being unable to do absolutely anything productive while also being set up to fail in a hypothetical next session if I were to continue, since my bankrupt wealth carries over, my decimated region's stats carry over, and my random assignment to that region also carries over.
Even if there was a system in place to recover and rebalance the power, people aren't going to discover that when it looks and feels necessary to start over in order to be fair.
It feels far too late to be suggesting game features to improve the group's commitment to continuing versus restarting, but I fear that a single player mode (with the present mechanics for inactive nobles and breaking ties) is the only way to see the game properly.
thats insane you didnt offer lobby matchmaking with your game, how on earth do you expect people to play your game, by joining a discord? good luck friend
dude review the game and look at all the people that will post on your review and attack you, its hilarious, i had like a page of attacks on my review stating i refunded it for the same reason and they had a melt down
