Hi GalaxyCat - The Party Game mode of King of the Castle is played by sharing the one Monarch player's screen, while the Nobles watch and play on their browsers. We've often played this on Discord, with people typing in chat and going to their browsers to vote.

To take this question a step further and to clarify on my own spin of the question:
Do we have to play with friends, or is there a matching que that can fill in the missing players from a player who wishes to host a game who leaves positions "open" for anyone who is looking for a game to join?

You need to play with "friends", or at least find some people and group with them on discord. In the official discord there is a looking for game section, apart from that yes, you would need friends as there is no matchmaking

Anyone looking for games on there for text-only chat? I'm a dad with like 2-3 hours available in the evening to play on my PC in my bedroom. Can't be on voicechat while everyone's asleep. Just curious.

Ahmen! I don't go to Discord anymore, because I have ill family members I care for and I'm tired of the unfair pressure to "speak up into a microphone".

I second Cactusrat's request... and to add ... how long is game typically?

Well i have friends but they wouldnt want to play this. I saw it and thought i could play it by myself. My group of friends are picky, and they dont always come in groups where i see the game would require more than just 1 person or 2.

If the game is only by playable when you have more than just yourself, i wont be able to play the game. I will have to get a refund.
