They have issues sorting out basic 16:9 resolutions above 1080p on their PC ports. So I would have to say no.

None of the Senran games supported ultrawide.
And of the few Neptunia games I've tried, they didn't either.

I wouldn't get my hopes up that this game handles it without some heavy tweaking of the game files.

Death Stranding is like the only Japanese game with ultrawide support.

You'll probably be able to use a HEX editor and force ultrawide. That's been the case for every IF game released over the past 5 or so years.

From what I've seen, attempting to hardcode the resolution options to use different aspect ratios just results in weird stuff like 3440x1935 to happen.

As for the camera aspect ratio, you can get that by doing (1080 / 1920) as a float value.

If people want it enough I could try a work on a widescreen hack.
But I would need to buy the game on PC first.

Why would you want smaller display for gaming? I don't get it.

If you look at a 21:9 ultrawide resolution on a common 16:9 widescreen you will get the impression that the image has become smaller because you will have black bars at the top and bottom of the screen, but when you have an ultrawide screen and the opposite, you will have black bars on the left and right if you run the game in 16:9, the ultrawide resolution in 21:9 will remove these bars, completing the screen, so on the right monitor the image will be bigger and not smaller like appears on your monitor.

Yeah, no, your ultrawide monitor will never be larger than my 16:9 55" TV.

Unless someone made a gigantic ultrawide screen mounting on an entire wall of my room, I don't see it worth a damn for gaming.

i've never heard of a monitor with black bars at the top....
Unless you buy 4:3 square monitors
I have both 16:9 and 21:9, i have 0 problems with widescreen games, no top bars.
Remember to put the aspect ratio to Original instead of Full Wide

FWIW I'm running in 4k but my TV is 4096x2160 rather than the more usual 3840x2160 that the game supports. Running in fullscreen mode there are black bars on each side of the screen but not enough to bother me, it's more like my screen is a bit bigger than expected. For Forza Horizon 5 I managed to trick it into running actually full screen, though the game looks a little distorted if you look closely. But for this game I don't care to bother with it.
