FPS FEST DEMO UPDATE!

In celebration of Steam FPS Fest, we have updated the Echo Point Nova demo! New features listed below:

Kill enemies to unlock weapon mods.
Collect agility orbs to level up your jump and grapple hook.
New jetpack enemy.
Improved boss fight.
Lots of adjustments to gameplay, balance, graphics, and performance.

Due to the changes in progression old demo saves don't work with this update, but you can access the old demo in the Steam betas menu.

The Echo Point Nova Next Fest demo update is live!

If you haven’t played in the while, there is A LOT of new stuff to check out:

Overhauled UI with full gamepad and Steam Deck support
A boss fight against a massive colossus
New weapons and perks to find
New islands to explore
New weapon ballistics system
Enhanced visuals and performance
And lots of gameplay, movement, and QoL improvements

Playing the demo helps boost visibility during Next Fest, so if you’d like to support development PLAY THE DEMO!

Played the demo again! Some feedback

I played single player exclusively. It's even better than the last time! Especially the kaiju boss, so exciting! Oh and the hard to reach "need new name" area . With that being said, a few notes: When I die, I'd like that the progress will be reset to what it was in the last checkpoint. When I was fighting the kaiju, I took out about 6 of its cores and then died, I respawned at the checkpoint without losing any progress. It feels like death doesn't have much p...

DEV CALL FOR FEEDBACK: Thoughts on boss?

Hi everyone, I'd like to hear how people feel about the boss fight. In general I'd like to know how you felt during the fight. Was it fun? Tedious? A letdown? Confusing? I'd like for there to be more of these huge fights for the full game, but I want to make sure players enjoy them. Any feedback, positive or negative, will be a huge help in designing these fights. I'm a huge fan of severed Steel, have been seeing clips of this on Twitter for months and finally got the chance to try the Demo: Just an incredible experience that truly fills a gap in the market right now. What other game is offering movement and gunplay as satisfying and on a scale such as this? Literally none of them. In a bit of a different way it feels very akin to the smoothness of a high skill TitanFall/Doom player, but without the need for dozens of hours of practicing things like bhops or oth...
