R18+ Patch

Given that devs have answered everything *but* this question I think we can assume that's a no.

If they are planning on adding R18 content there is no reason for them not to have said so, meanwhile if not they have every reason to avoid providing definitive confirmation as they would lose a portion of their sales.

Well im only waiting for R18+ confirmation to buy the game... if is not R18+... i will not buy it :S. I really love the first one in all aspects (gameplay, storys and R18+).

I'm on a Discord with one of the guys who worked on the western localization for this title and the original Mirror. He had mentioned in conversation that this game, unlike the previous title, actually didn't have any R18+ content.

You needn't take my word for it. I'm just chiming in with what I heard.

Yeah, im waiting for to see if r18+ content is added before playing further myself.. i bought it early expecting it to have the R18+ content like the first game, if i knew they werent planning to add r18+ content, i wouldnt have bought the game. Whats the point if not? the stories and gameplay are nothing special, can get better stories or better gameplay elsewhere.

very true. personally, i find this somewhat ridiculous if the rumors are true about the dev studio's country not allowing porn when, y'know... they made the first game with no issues?

they're just disappointing their audience heavily if that's the case. most, if not, all the people who bought this game bought it for the h-content just like the first game.

i understand, times change, and over time, different laws get passed. but i've not heard of any other countries other than south korea banning porn in any way. either way, we can really only wait and see. maybe when the game's out of early access we'll get the goods. maybe.

It would be severely disappointing if it turns out that they don't intend to have R18+ content in this game. I know that I would not be interested in any of their future projects, and I'm sure I wouldn't be alone in that.

R18+ content has been datamined but at this point we don't even know if those were made before they went full SFW or they are waiting for 1.0 to release the goods. Honestly it baffles me that this game being a direct sequel from Mirror has nothing of the sexual content the previous game was popular for.

This is a EARLY Access Version and the 2 current Episodes are simple awesome ! I think it will come when the game is finished. It makes no sence to bring it now.

I mean they've explicitly stated what they are planning to add to the complete version:

1. Story Mode: 8 chapters in total, estimated playtime is 12 to 24 hours.
2. Challenge Mode: Roguelike+match-3 fused challenge mode, estimated playtime is 50 to 100 hours.
3. Simulator: Gather resources by playing Challenge Mode to unlock characters, skins, and new areas. Estimated playtime ??? hours.

If they were planning to add anything else they would have said so.

I kind of agree with naming it something other than Mirror 2 but above average match-3 games are pretty damn hard to find. Despite the 18+, Huniepop and Mirror had enjoyable gameplay (tbf, Huniepop is far more intricate and creative but Mirror had awesome art and "minigames"). Looking at the CG and cosplay DLC as well as the new art direction, they're putting in a hell of a lot of effort into this. The "I'm buying it to support their vision" line given with so many games is a bunch of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and not how macro markets works, but for something small and hands-off like a Steam indie game, and the price of a 2L soda, I think it's pretty cool and might have an actual $ impact to the studio by supporting it

And besides, you can't enjoy your hardcore kinkiness without some softcore to give it meaning

Agree. This game is total cool at this point. They also add 22 NEW Cosplay Pictures with Chapter 2. And this for 2 $ ??? This is amazing.

They should have given it a different name. Those who played Mirror will come thinking, as it's a follow up, to have R18 content and be dissapointed, Whereas those who didnt buy the first one because of R18 content wont look at it because due to it being a follow up the expectations are that it will contain R18 content.
