Easy Anti Cheat Fix !!!

If you have EAC failing to launch, the window pops up, closes, and you can't get past that. I found the solution after a fresh install of windows which gave me a pop up. You have to turn off Memory Integrity setting. Doing this will allow EAC to access the files it needs to which will let your game launch. I spent days going through all the forums of multiple games doing this and no one has posted this solution. (I'm on windows 11)

AntiCheat does not launch when Chivalry 2 crashes and you relaunch the game via Unreal Engine prompt

When Chivalry 2 there is an UE prompt that asks if you want to restart the game.

But if you do so, the anti cheat will not start and the game won't let you play, forcing you to restart the game another time.

stuck on easy anti cheat not installed , verify integrity didn't work

just installed the game and it crashed my pc and then easy anti not installed error won't go away , had similar issue with THE FINALS , probably windows update issue

Easy anticheat error 30005

I tried launching the game last night but kept getting hit with an Easy Anticheat error code 30005: StartService failed with 1275) I did some googling but nobody can tell me how to solve or work around this issue. My Windows is up to date and I just updated EAC.
None of the other games I have that use EAC are having this problem, does anyone know why Chiv2 is the only game having this issue?

Having the same issue here. Are you using Windows 11 by any chance? I read something about disabling the "Kernel-mode Hardware-enforced Stack Protection" might fix it but honestly... I'm not disabling part of my computers security system for this -_-

I am, and that did fix it for me, but I'm not huge on leaving that off. Maybe just disable it, play, then re-enable it after. Still sucks this is happening though.

Shameful that we have to risk PC security to even play the game.

every time i try to load up chivalry 2 i get that launch error, i already tried redownloading the game and the anti cheat, i already checked if my firewall and windows security are causing this - they are not. I'm out of ideas on how to fix this ♥♥♥♥

Disabeling Kernel Mode is not even fixing it, just bought a not working game. what a fun experience
